How do I store Citrumed?
Citrumed is an ALL NATURAL, patented liquid that relieves the symptoms of the herpes simplex virus I and II (HSV1 and HSV2) that cause outbreaks such as Cold Sores and Fever Blisters.
There are only three ingredients in Citrumed's patented cold sore formula. All three ingredients are 100% natural and non toxic.
- Citrus peel extract is an anti-microbial that helps fight HSV.
- Vitamin E pain reliever and antioxidant that helps protect and repair skin cells.
- Camphor is a natural pain reliever and has a cooling effect on the skin.
3. How is Citrumed different from other products?
Citrumed penetrates the envelope of herpes viruses I and II that cause the outbreaks. The herpes virus is not able to spread without its envelope intact. What this means for most people is that the outbreak will go away rather quickly. This is especially true if Citrumed is used at the first signs of an outbreak. Many people have reported their outbreak has never really developed.
4. Why does Citrumed work so well?
Our formula immediately attacks the herpes virus on contact. The more often you apply Citrumed, the better the results. You cannot apply it too often.
5. Is Citrumed a cure for herpes?
Unfortunately, there is no cure for herpes. Once the herpes virus is in the body, it will stay there for life. That is medical fact, and anyone telling you differently is misinformed.
6. Do you guarantee the results?
Yes. Citrumed comes with a full money back guarantee. We would like to mention that there is no product on the market today, nor will there ever be a product, that will work for every person. Every person is unique, and so is the response of one’s body to a treatment.
7. What studies have you done?
A study of 12 volunteers (6 male, 6 female) ages 2 months to 88 years who had cold sores was conducted by Dr. Fornari, Bluffton, SC in 2006. The product worked well on all but one female participant.
A second study was started in November 2008 in which volunteers were solicited via our website to treat cold sores and genital herpes. We mailed product to over six hundred people for this self-reporting study. Participants monitor their results throughout their outbreak and then fill out a questionnaire to submit at the end of their outbreak. This study is still ongoing and we are getting more feedback all the time. However, we are currently not enrolling new participants for this study.
8. Can I obtain details of the studies?
Absolutely. While full names and identify of participants are kept confidential, the statistical results are available upon request. We strongly encourage you to read the many testimonials we have received and have published on this website.
9. What side effects are there?
Some participants experienced an unpleasant stinging or burning sensation when applying our product. However, most people do not experience any unpleasant side effect, stinging or other, at all.
10. Who should not use Citrumed?
Anyone, any age may use the product.
11. Can I share my bottle with another person?
Citrumed comes with a roll on ball or a spray applicator. The spray applicator is easy to share. We do not recommend sharing the bottle with a roll on applicator.
12. Does Citrumed come in different strengths?
Yes. The default strength is 45 for the roll on ball and 40 for the spray bottle. We highly recommend everyone try that version first since it works best for the largest number of people. If you feel a stinging sensation, you can request a lower strength. If you feel no stinging sensation, you may want to upgrade next time to a stronger strength. However, if your outbreak goes away in a day or two or never fully develops, the 45 version is likely working very well for you.
As a general rule, the stronger versions tend to sting more than the lower versions.
13. Does Citrumed only help with HSV1?
It works equally well on HSV1 and HSV2. These are the dominant strains of the herpes virus. Mistakenly, people often refer to HSV1 as cold sores and HSV2 as genital herpes. However, HSV1 does can show up in the genital area and HSV2 can be found on the lips and other facial areas. HSV1 and HSV2 share about 50% the same DNA. There are many products such as Acyclovir and Valtrex, that are prescribed for both genital herpes and cold sores.
14. What is the difference between Colds Sores and Fever Blisters?
There is no difference. A Cold Sore is the same as a Fever Blister. They are just different names for a facial herpes outbreak.
15. Does Citrumed work on Canker Sores?
Canker sores (which are inside the mouth) are usually not the herpes virus but a bacterial infection. We have not done a study on the effect of Citrumed on canker sores. If you use Citrumed on canker sores, we would greatly appreciate your feedback.
Good question. If you give us a testimonial, we would be happy to include it in our testimonials section. In order to be included, you would need to fill out a few short questions we can e-mail to you. In case we are audited, we have to be able to show who gave us what testimonial. While this information is kept confidential and not made public, we need to have your information for our own records. What is made public is only your first name, state and your testimonial.
The best way to store is away from sunlight at room temperature. Do not store it too cold (below 50 F) and definitely do not freeze it. Do not leave it in the car since cars can get cold or hot easily.
